Krida, alongwith Oxford Bookstore has brought out the magic of the Harry Potter Book release through a series of events.

Among the events, the Harry Potter Quiz is expected to be a nail- biting thriller.

This summer gets busier ....

This summer gets busier than ever!!. Summer Camps at T Nagar and Besant Nagar! The Summer Camp page is the place to look.

.. in the true spirit of Sportsmanship...

Our students took this vow and conducted the Sports Day with fun and competition. The number of events for the Kindergarten and Sub Juniors saw them participating with as much seriousness as any other age group.

Of course, lots of prizes were given away and we made sure that every child got a medal or certificate to encourage his/ her participation in these competitive activities.

Republic Day 2007

Colourful festivities, gaiety and the spirit of oneness pervaded the atmosphere during the Republic Day celebrations this year.

The 'Jan Shakthi Saraswathi Vidyalaya Krida Express' ( a name as long as the number of children who took part!) was the highlight of the cultural events presented by the students. The depiction of various religions and the unity begotten by the rich diversity of our country, was acclaimed by the Parents.

Pongal Fest 07

Pongal is a time of celebrations and Krida, as usual, put up interesting activities to encourage children to celebrate with purposeful activities. Competitions were conducted and prizes given.

Joy of Christmas

At Krida, we encourage children to, not only tolerate other religions and communities than their own; but to also actively involve themselves in developing a healthy and positive attitude towards 'inclusiveness'.

Our students at Nanganallur, therefore, enjoyed a Church visit to mark Christmas. They shared in the joy and festivities. Thanks to our parents, they were part of a Mass and Prayers were said on their behalf. All in all, a memorable occasion!

Animals in class

This month's theme for the Kindergarten was 'Animals'. The children enjoyed every moment of the day working with colours, cut outs and rhymes on Animals.

As each child did his/ her activity, he / she learnt a lot about them.
